Summer Internship Program

The Grainer Center for Simulation and Innovation Summer Internship Program is a unique summer opportunity to expose undergraduate and graduate students to medical research, simulation and clinical medicine.
This unpaid internship will give participants the opportunity to contribute to projects including the development and design of innovative simulation trainers and/or data collection and academic manuscript preparation. The Summer Internship Program also provides opportunities to participate in clinical shadowing experiences as well as medical and surgical simulation training, working with both low and high fidelity simulation technologies.

Upon completion of the 8-week program, participants will present their project and summary of experiences at the Summer Internship Program Luncheon.

Applicants must:

  • Be age 18 or above
  • Have proof that college credit (undergraduate/graduate) can be earned through an internship (even 0 credit on their transcript)
  • Provide a letter from the school registrar stating that the student is in good standing
