For more than 30 years, Press Ganey has been the industry's recognized leader in improving the patient experience. Today, Press Ganey works with more than 26,000 health care facilities, including over 60 percent of all US hospitals, to help reduce patient suffering and improve the quality, safety, and experience of care.
Who receives the survey?
The Medical Group survey is mailed (print or email) to NorthShore Medical Group patients within a few days of their appointment with a physician. Patients take a 30 question survey and provide comments regarding specific aspects of care. We use this feedback to improve all aspects of the clinic experience. Our goal is to provide each patient with an exceptional experience of care. Each year we hear back from more than 60,000 patients who receive care in our Medical Group offices.
Do you post all comments?
We are committed to posting positive and negative feedback. However, we do not post comments that are libelous, slanderous, profane, reference a different provider, or those that risk the privacy of our patients or providers. Of all physician comments received in the last year, 96% have been posted unedited.
Why do some physicians have no rating?
We survey patients of NorthShore Medical Group physicians. As such, Independent providers will not have ratings or comments. Additionally for our Medical Group physicians, in order to provide our patients and visitors with the most accurate and useful information, we only post physician ratings and comments when a physician has received a minimum of 30 returned surveys.
